 Customer Care Specialist - Veterinary Technician (Unicorn)

We are looking for a magical species, a unicorn in a sense.  This magical animal is a Registered Veterinary Technician who loves providing excellent front desk service. I know they are out there, hiding in a forest of long days, with no weekends off. This species is known for their humble behavior, their ability to schedule client appointments with a smile, and to pinch hit anywhere the team needs help. They happily will hold a patient for a blood draw or perform the blood draw - whatever needs done.  Mopping, laundry, processing lab tests, filling medications, helping with puppy classes, answering phones, and taking care of client emails - they know that what they do benefits the whole, no matter what they are doing.  At the end of the day they are smiling, making their team members laugh, and feeling successful that they were able to answer all of Mrs. Jones' questions about the medication she went home with, but didn't understand how to give.  The unicorn values their communication skills and knows they fill a critical role in applying their veterinary technology education to the demanding needs of the front desk. 

What do you guys do? Take a cruise through the website! We are a veterinary behavior only facility. No surgery, dentistry, radiology, etc.  Just animals who are anxious or fearful and their owner's are looking for options for help and support. This position involves a lot of communication by phone, text, and email making sure we connect these folks with the services  they need.

Our goal is to hire this mythical new team member within the next 6-8 weeks (Today is the 22th day of the 8th month in the year of Covid 2020).

    •  Hours: M, T, Th, F 8:30am to 5:30/6pm
  • Hourly wage commensurate with experience and education
