Like many businesses, The Behavior Clinic has been effected by Covid-19. We have had to make changes to our services to comply with the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and the Governor's recommendations. At this time, veterinary medicine is still classified as an essential service, which means that WE ARE OPEN. To continue to stay open, and serve our clients, we have limited our personnel to 6 individuals, 5 of whom are in the building. We are working remote whenever possible and using our telemedicine portal to see patients and clients. There are hand sanitizer stations in various areas around the building, and our team members are wearing gloves, have masks available, and are using clothing layers that can be removed and laundered after contact with patients/clients. We are doing lots of hand washing and cleaning of our facility - just like we always do.
We have restricted building access to new patient appointments, lab testing, our Puppy Social Break puppies, and our team. Our team is meeting patients curbside, bringing them into the building, performing services, and then returning them to your car. Each patient's curbside care is being tailored for their behavioral needs and will be discussed with you by a team member when a curbside service is scheduled. Medication pick ups are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm. Clients are instructed to pull into the handicapped space at the side door, and call 440-334-8534 for a team member to bring their medications to their vehicle. All other appointments, workshops, and classes are being provided virtually!
Please be aware that we will begin CLOSING on WEDNESDAY's as of April 8th. This will allow our team time to be with their families and to rest and stay healthy as we all navigate through this pandemic together. We are planning on continuing to stay closed on Wednesday's until further notice.
Overall, it's business as usual. We will still be providing progress appointments, technician appointments, classes and all the things we usually do. You will get the same service, same smiles, and excellent patient care - just with some social distancing!
